One day he went to meet a Saint along an acquaintance. They were waiting for the saint in a room. After some time the sound of khadau (wooden footwear worn by saint) was heard. In the words of Gurudev "Sri Anand Sai Ji" as the saint descended he felt that somebody was not just coming down the stairs but descending deep down into his heart this was an indication for him that he was about to meet his Guru. And within a few moments a Divine personality clad in white dhoti, white cloth on his body and a white patka on his head with a long tilak on his forehead was standing in front of him. The divine personality , The Guru , the Preceptor was smiling on seeing his devotee. The Devotee was amazed at the glimpse of his Preceptor , his eyes were lit up, eye stop flickering , tears rolled down and he felt inscenced. All his thoughts eloped. The Guru stood there looking at his devotee with motherly love. Time stood still. He bowed at Lotus Feet of his Guru with devotion. The devotee then remembered the famous shabad of Guru Arjun Dev Ji. And he told his Guru that he heard and read these lines thousand of times but had understood his real meaning only after having the His darshan. The Shabad was -
(I have been blessed to have darshan of the Saint, my Guru, my Preceptor.) The devotee felt that Parbraham Parmeshewar in the form of the Guru, Himself was standing before him. The Guru embraced His shishya. The devotee's condition can be very well understood from the prayer. He said at that very moment-
(I met my Preceptor, He mebraced me and I tasted Nector. By His mercy He gave place to His child in His Lotus Feet.)
This was how Beloved papa Sri anand Sai first met His Guru Sri Sri 1008 Sri Swami Sitaram Dasji Maharaj. he was one of the greatest Saints of that time, having Divine Powers. A brahmchari having all yogic intellects. He was know as Swami Ji amongst His devotees. We very humbly bow at the Lotus Feet of Sri Swami Ji - Sri Sitaramdas Ji Maharaj. Papa our Beloved Gurudev Sri Anand Sai Ji used to say that the work of the Divinity is always steady. It spreads and grows slowly but firmly. It opens the eyes of everyone at the first instance. the words Divine have the power to transform even a so called great sinner into a saint. This is what we are experiencing from the feed backs we are getting from many of our readers.
