Adverse karmas when they arise the jivas have to undergo some sufferings. I, ofcourse protect those who have surrendered to Me. I definitely protect those who are Mine. This they must realise. But still they have to suffer some what. They have to bear the consequences of their past karmas, whether they are of this birth or of the previous births. One who is totally surrendered to Me, I take away a lot of his or her sufferings. I bear the sufferings on Myself. I give only a fraction to my own children to bear. The law of karmas is inexplorable, none can change it, someone has to suffer. I suffer for My children because they are so dear to Me, I hate to see them suffering. I never break the laws made by my Own Self. I suffer for all of you, for everyone of you. Do you know? Do you understand? do not go on the wrong path. Know this, your mother has to suffer for your sake. Do you want your Mother so Suffer? I am sure you will not like that. I hope in the future you will not go on the wrong path. If you do wrong things then I have to suffer because I am you Mother. Motherly love for a child, not of a worldly mother's love for a worldly child, but of a true spiritual Mother for a spiritual child who is part and parcel of Her. Will you remember this now and give me no more sufferings. You call yourselves my children and still give me so much sufferings. Should I take it that you will not longer give me any more troubles. Say yes, all of you say yes. Now, if you are the children of the Holy Divine Mother take this now sitting here in "My Holy Lap", this Holy Darbar is my Holy Lap, that from now onwards no one will go on the wrong path.

DIVINE PATH
(From the speeches of 'PAPA' Sri Anand Sai)
Be Seeker of Truth

This is a Yantra, a diagram showing how the Grace of the Divine Mother saves, redeems the individual soul. This white spot over here, is the individual soul which is confined in five triangles. Five triangles according to our scriptures are five sheets over the individual soul, which have confined it, seperated it from the Supreme Infinite Soul. We we surrender ourselves to the Divine Mother, these five sheets one by one disappear, and then we become like this lotus. As the lotus flower remains in the water and does not get wet, similarly, we remain in the world and we are not contaminated by worldliness. We remain like this for some time, then by the Grace of the Holy Divine Mother, we go into the larger infinity and get absorbed in that. Do you understand? Is it clear? What beautiful mysic meaning this diagram has, this Yantra has. This diagram contains the whole gist of spirituality in it.

When the Divine Mother wrests the power of action from our body, mind and intellect, only then you should feel that you are really receiving the choicest Grace of the Holy Divine Mother.

The Guru is not in the form but in the path. Try to understand that path. So long as you do not become children, you have come in vain here for all these years. You have not benefitted.

So long as the ego persists in us, we have not yet received the real choicest Grace of the Divine Mother. Be very clear about it, very very clear about it. So long as this ego is there, we may be millionaires, we may be V.I.P.s in this worldly life, we may get all the amenities of the world, but we can't receive the Divine Mother's choicest Grace.

Do not be of the world, the universe belongs to the Divine Mother. When we become a child of the Divine Mother, the universe will come automatically to us. Yes, the world will come automatically to us.

Be a student all the time. Never thing you are a master. Be students, be seekers of Truth. I have been telling even if you have much knowledge of spirituality still you should try to understand things like a student. There is so much to imbibe. Everything is teaching us something. We have to go on learning. In the spiritual path we have to be childlike right till the end. All animate inanimate things, all happenings, incidents in our lives are teaching us something and taking us forward towards our goal.

The yantra shows the story of an individual soul as separated from the Supreme Soul. The spark of light separated from the great Sun of Universal Life. How that spark of light is bound in five different sheets by the power and will of Aadi Shakti. How when in some life, some birth the jeeva, the individual soul gets the Grace of the Aadi Shakti and then he is brought to the holy feet of the Aadi Shakti. By the Grace of the Divine Mother, he begins to surrender to the Divine Power, the Universal Cosmic Divine Power, that Motherly power and then these sheets begin to disappear on after the other. He begins to be liberated from the chains of Maya the illusive power of the Mother Aadi Shakti. He lives like a lotus flower in this material world, uncontaminated by worldly desires and allurements of this visible manifestation. As he leads a life of non-attachment in this world merging his mind all the time as a child in his Divine Mother, he begins to merge more and more in the Infinity, the Universal Divine Power. He gets liberated by the Grace of the Sai Divine Mother even while he is in this form. He has not to wait for this form to be dropped to get liberated. He gets liberated while still in this form. When he is desire free by the Grace of the Divine Mother, when the attractions of the world have no pull, they cannot exert and pull on his mind by the Grace of Divine Mother he becomes desire free, leads a life a total, complete, ungrudging self-surrender. He feels he is being drifted from moment to moment, from place to place, from environment to environment, from one situation to another. He gets slowly merged in the Divinity, into the real Divinity. If the Divinity is real Divinity, that soul can only merge in Him through sheer power of love and surrender. If you can realise God by mechanical means, not by purity of love, purity of love, by the purity of self surrender. If that purity of love, purity of self-surrender is not there you will not realise God but you will realise Satan. This fact we must realise. This is the only way. There is no other way.

When the Lord appeared three years ago at Haridwar (Baba Himself came in physical form and met Gurudev His beloved child when He had been to Haridwar). These were His words, 'My child ! This is only way. There is not other way. This is the only way. " These were the Divine words, "This is the only way."

When an individual soul in utter devotion, utter self-surrender gets lost in the ecstasy of love of the Divine name, the same 'Kundalini Shakti' power for which the yogis try all their lives and are not successful in arising the 'Kundalini Power' to its goal, by the sheer power of devotion and surrender, that Kundalini Power shoots up. It passes through all the six chakras and merges in its own Divine Soul. Such is the path of Love divine Such is the path of complete self-surrender. What is the state that we achieve every day? This mystic inner state when we are lost in inner peace, in inner rapture and bliss. What is this? Do you realise this? This is nothing but simply the arising of the Mother Kundalini Shakti which rises and shoots and merges in Her Divine source in the 'Sahasra Dal'. That is how we taste this Divine Nectar by her Grace. What is this ras, this amritam? this nectar? The nectar of immortality. We get lost in that inner peace, inner bliss, inner transquility, inner voice, inner joy.

The deeds pertaining to the this body have to be worked out by the individual soul. There is absolutely no escape from that Supreme Reality. The only way out is, when the Divine Mother's Grace devours upon you as a result of the total and complete self-surrender honestly offered by you. You choose to be the Divine Mother's child, the Karmas come, the offshoots of the past deeds come on your body and mind, but your vision is fixed on the Eternal Divine Mother. You are in bliss of the Divinity. You sometimes are not even conscious that you body is working out the Karmas, that you body is being subjected to diseases, ailment, worry and all sorts of offshoots which are the effects of your past deeds. For the same Karmas a worldly man suffers so much pain and misery and cries himself to death. Sometime he blames God for his own deeds. While a child of the Divine Mother, loving the Mother only, fixing all his attentions on the Divine Mother suffers unknowingly. And what sort of love is this? If you take back your memory to your childhood, you will recall that whenever your mother used to leave you even for a couple of minutes to do some household work, you used to cry. You could not stand the separation from your Mother even for a couple of minutes. similar should be our love for the Divine Mother now that we have chosen to be Her children. The moment we miss Here even for few moments we should be in anguish. That is the sort of love that is required of a child for the Holy Divine Mother. Then all is auspicious, all is joy, all is bliss. The life is Life Divine on earth. No action is your action. No responsibility is your responsibility. A child never acts nor owns his responsibility. The Divine Mother takes charge, wrests the power of action and ownership from the false ego and takes the individual soul in Her own Infinite Bossom. The individual soul that had been subjected to misery, worry and pain till now, becomes not blissful but bliss, not joyous but joy, not peaceful but peace. The shining drop slids into the shining sea of the Holy Divine Mother and becomes one.

Attachment is the cause of bondage for the soul. Attachment brings the soul back to the earth, back to the womb again and again. Attachment is of four types - attachment for money, property, relations and for name and fame. What is the aim of sadhna, the spiritual practice? The sole aim of sadhna is to get rid of these four attachments. He who by the grace of Baba Sai Nath, gets rid of these four attachments is a jeevan-mukta. Do not believe in the trash that you will be free after you death. If at all you are to be free, you can be free during this life time only. If you get free from these four attachments, you are a free soul. Therefore look within, see how much attachment is left in you for these four things. It is of course, a slow process. If by Baba Sai Nath's Grace you are gradually and steadily shedding these attachments, you are going beyond the pale of Maya. The day will come when you will all be free from these attachments. Even today in our congregation, there are some blessed souls who, in a short span of a few years have shed all these four attachments. They are already free souls. Therefore, I have to ask all you children to abandon all attachments and to love Baba Sai Nath wholeheartedly, love Him with all your heart. Whatever love you give to the worldly things, give all that love to Him and by His Grace you will be liberated from the trammels of life and death.

Young children go about on tricycles. In their early teens they ride bicycles. Later on when they grow up, they use motor cycles and cars for their conveyance. For a start, childhood, a tricycle is alright. But how odd shall it look if you see a man of forty or fifty going about on a tricycle on the road.

Similarly, on the religious and spiritual path, it is alright to start with outer forms of worship. Going to temples, mosques or churches are alright for making a beginning. Man can very well start with rituals and ceremonies that usually go with the outer worship of every institutional religion. But the compelling need is to outgrow and go within, into the realm of Spirit, which is the Eternal Truth behind every religion. It is within one's Self and that one attains true liberation.

Therefore , O children of Immortality! seek the Reality within you. The Immanent Truth is Baba Sai Nath who is eternally calling His children from within back to His Infinite Bossom. Heed that call and attain final liberation and Eternal Bliss.

God's illusive power Maya has created this manifest world of variegated charms and attractions and the jeevas get deluded by them. How does the Truth redeem the people when He appears on this earth. You must understand this process. On one side, there is the Infinite pull of Maya exerting on the minds of the people, on the other side there is the pull of the Truth. The magnetic pulls from both side work simultaneously. But the pull of the Truth, Baba Sai Nath is infinitely greater than the pull of the Maya. The result is that the minds of the people are automatically attracted towards Him. It is ordinarily very difficult to control the mind but when the Truth appears on the world stage, that very mind automatically gets attracted towards the Truth. Remember Baba Sai Nath is one of the greatest visitations of 'That Truth' on the earth.

The cage is thus opened for the yearning souls to get out. The advent of Truth makes it possible for the jeevas to achieve in a short span of time what they could not get the prolonged, intense sadhna of thousands of lives. These are indeed 'Golden Periods' in the history of mankind.

My dear friends, Lawyers, Professors, Doctors, Businessmen, Administrators, Men behind the machines, men behind the ploughs, men and women in offices, if you always remain worried, troubled and excited on account of the constant irritations and anxieties of modern day-to-day life, please adopt the way of life as advocated in these pages, Tread on this path and see the miraculous results. His Divine Grace will transform your life in to one of Peace, Joy and Happiness.

This human life is the most precious gift of God. Under no circumstances should this be wasted in idle worldly persist. On the contrary, we should utilize every moment for our spiritual upliftment.

Baba Sai Nath is the undifferentiated Reality behind the multiplicity of this visible manifestation. Let us dedicate ourselves zealously to Him and to His shining path and by His Blessings we shall be redeemed.
